Fire Impacts Operations at BRP Storage & Production Facility

A BRP storage facility, Juarez 2, caught fire on Saturday, July 17 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico just south of El Paso, TX. There were no injuries resulting in this fire, however in a statement released today, BRP states six days of production from the company was lost when over 1,000 UTVs stored outside were damaged or destroyed in the fire.

“I am pleased that all our employees are safe and followed our health and safety protocols”, stated José Boisjoli, President & Chief Executive Officer, BRP. "We appreciate the quick assistance of the firefighters, local businesses and authorities. We do not anticipate any material impact to our business."

The cause of the incident is still unknown and the company is hoping to resume operations by mid-week once cleared by authorities.
